From 2007 Turkey Trot

Well, it's very cold in this neck of the woods. For two years now we have gone out as a family to the Springfield Park Board Turkey Trot to benefit the Developmental Center of the Ozarks and the Ozarks food harvest. This is the first year and first race for Emily, so I just ran along side of her as a father-daughter run. The starting temperature was about 28 degrees F, definitely below what I am comfortable with. Emily did really well for her first race. Her official time has yet to be posted but it was around 29:45 or 30 minutes.
